I’m convinced bookcases are partly magical.
They hold our stories, our family pictures and our prized possessions. Everywhere I've lived, I've had a bookcase (normally more than one.) I curate each shelf as if it's a museum exhibit. So it will come as no surprise that, when I was deciding what should be in the Campbell Family's living room, the first thing I asked for was a bookcase. If you look closely you'll see baby pictures of Rosie, Robert's Rubik's cube, one of Alexis' plants, and many other objects that are meaningful to myself and the cast.
In case you don't have a magical bookcase of your own at home, here is your chance to design your dream book nook! If you need help getting started, here are some ideas you could include:
A book you enjoy
A picture of your best friend
A card from someone you love
Your favorite toy
Your future Nobel Peace Prize or Oscar Award!
My only advice: dream BIG! Once you've finished, be sure to upload your picture and tag Gamut Theatre Group!
